Anti-Fraud
Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our Commitment
Fraud control is core to how Stride Media Global operates. We are committed to delivering validated, high-quality traffic to our advertisers and maintaining a publisher network free of fraudulent, incentivized, or low-quality sources. This policy outlines how we detect, prevent, and respond to invalid traffic across our network.
2. What We Consider Fraud
We classify the following as fraudulent or invalid activity:
- Bot and Non-Human Traffic: Clicks, installs, or conversions generated by automated scripts, emulators, or device farms rather than real users.
- Click Spamming and Click Injection: Manipulating attribution windows to falsely claim credit for organic installs.
- Incentivized Traffic: Installs or actions driven by cash, points, or rewards, when not explicitly authorized by the advertiser.
- SDK Spoofing: Fabricating attribution data to simulate legitimate app installs or events.
- Duplicate or Reattributed Conversions: Multiple claims for the same user action across different sources.
3. Detection Methods
We apply a multi-layered approach to fraud detection, including:
- Validation filters aligned with each advertiser's Insertion Order (IO), including Primary Attribution checks, device and advertising ID validation, and deduplication logic.
- Cross-referencing conversion data against Mobile Measurement Partner anti-fraud suites (AppsFlyer Protect360, Adjust Fraud Prevention, and equivalent tools from Kochava, Branch, and Singular).
- Behavioral analysis segmented by traffic type (User Acquisition vs. Retargeting) and individual publisher/PID performance.
- Ongoing PID-level quality scoring to identify underperforming or high-risk traffic sources for pause, monitoring, or removal.
4. Publisher Accountability
Publishers within our network are required to generate traffic through compliant, organic methods only. We continuously monitor publisher-level performance and reserve the right to pause, restrict, or permanently remove any source identified as a source of invalid traffic.
5. Advertiser Protection
Conversions identified as fraudulent through our validation process, or through MMP-side fraud detection, will not be invoiced to the advertiser. Where payment has already occurred, Stride Media Global will reverse or credit the corresponding amount.
6. Reporting Suspected Fraud
Advertisers and partners who identify suspicious campaign activity are encouraged to report it immediately through their dedicated account manager or our contact form. Our team investigates all reports and provides a summary of findings.
7. Third-Party Tools
While Stride Media Global maintains its own internal validation processes, we strongly recommend advertisers also enable their MMP's native anti-fraud suite or a third-party fraud detection tool for an additional layer of protection.
8. Continuous Improvement
Fraud tactics evolve constantly. We regularly review and update our detection methodology, validation filters, and publisher vetting process to stay ahead of emerging fraud patterns in the mobile advertising ecosystem.
